Good friendly service
Went in for a emergency oil change a hour before closing yesterday i was in and out in 30 minutes staff was courteous customer service was excellent and prices are fair and reasonable i have already recommend this business to a few people
I took my car there to see what was wrong with it. They were supposed to see what was wrong and give me call. I call the next morning to see if they had looked at it; the guy said it was fixed and it was $600 for them to replace my starter. They were never supposed to fix it before calling me first. I found 2 other quotes for almost $200 cheaper. 404 Auto Repair only came down $75 on their original price. I will never take my car there again. He admitted they were wrong but still wasn't willing to come down much on the price when they were not supposed to fix it from the start, just diagnose my vehicle.

I have had two experiences with 404 Auto Repair; one good and one terrible. Several months ago they repaired a broken serpentine belt bracket -- same day service, called me promptly when it was finished, didn't try to sell me extra stuff, charged a fair price. Five stars. This week I made an appointment for Monday to look at the power steering. Dropped it off Sunday night. Heard nothing Monday. Called Tuesday morning and they promised it would be finished by that evening. Called back at 4:00 pm Tuesday and they still hadn't even looked at it. I *had* to have the car back before Wednesday and they knew that; when I went to pick it up, having had nothing done, the guy at the counter just shrugged his shoulders and said "We got behind." That's neither an explanation nor an apology -- that's just a restatement of the fact that you are a crummy manager of your staff and resources. One star.
